In the 1940s, Maniharsha Jyoti entered the service business by offering delivering, clearing and forwarding services for goods of traders in Kalimpong, Calcutta and Lhasa. Jyoti Group continued this legacy with the establishment of Himal Agencies, offering clear, forwarding and transportation from Kolkata Port to different locations in Nepal.
