In 2010, Hero Honda Group decided to terminate the joint venture between Hero Group and Honda. In similar fashion, the operations of Syakar Company were separated to manage the businesses of Hero MotoCorp and Honda.

Nepal General Marketing (P) Ltd (NGM) was established in 2012 by Dr. Roop Jyoti. It was appointed the authorized distributor of Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) for Nepal.

Today, NGM continues its Syakar legacy. It continues to grow and has its retail outlets and service stations spread across the nation. NGM is not only responsible for selling various brands of two-wheeler vehicles but also provides after-sales support, finance and exchange facility to its customers. NGM Trading (P) Ltd is an associate company supporting NGM.
